Oxazolidine gp.-contg. polymers (A) contain structural units having general formula (where R1 = R2 = H, alkyl and n is an integer, esp. 1 or 2). (A) are used for (a) moulded articles, coatings or adhesives, also in blends with ohter plastics; (b) finishing compsns. for paper and textiles; (c) copolymers with acrylates and OH-contg. monomers find uses as corrosion inhibitors; (d) copolymers contg. additional reactive gps., e.g. OH, NH2 and COOH, can be used as reactive lacquers, easily crosslinked by heat and light.
