Icing sugar grinding machine - with upward flow through coarse and fine grinding impact discs by compressed air

A sugar grinding machine for use in the prodn. of Lebkuchen (spiced honey cake) consists of a coarse grinding impact disc which is arranged vertically below the fine grinding impact disc and sepd. from it by a screen. Compressed air is used to feed the crystallised sugar and convey it against the force of gravity through the machine to a blow-out head. Particles are thus not conveyed to the fine grinding section until they pass the screen or can be lifted by the air stream. A similar action in the fine grinding section results in a continuous and uniform supply of finely ground sugar from a simple and cheap machine.
