The slab-shaped building element comprises an outer panel made of concrete with ribs set in its peripheral area, projecting inwards from it and running in the direction of its edges, made of angled pieces of metal, in the area of two edges at least, and pref. all four. Here the metal angled pieces are set at an interval from the edges of the slab, displaced towards its centre. Where they are set near at least three edges they can combine together to form a frame. One arm of the angled pieces may be perforated with equidistant holes, pref. keyhole-shaped. Within the area framed by them there may be a grid of wooden battens, incorporating spacers. Adjacent slabs can be held together in the wall by connecting pieces screwed to the ribs, while a plastic binder is provided for the outer panels.
