Automatic light dipping control - with photocell controlled switching relay and delay circuit to reset high beam

The vehicle is fitted with a photocell controlled circuit linked to the lighting circuit by switching relays. If the photocell senses approaching headlights then the relays are operated and the lights dipped. After the photocells register no oncoming lights a variable time delay is activated to reset the lights on 'high' after a set time interval, providing the light control switch is set on 'high'. The system, if fitted to all vehicles, prevents dazzle at night. It also prevents the headlights being set on high beam on illuminated roads.
