Mine heading machine loading-out conveyor arrangement for spoil removal from the face is made up of two conveyors which run alongside one another close to the axis of the machine. The conveyor are reversed in the horizontal plane close to the tooling and lead out towards the roadway or gallery walls and are adjustable here in length to suit the width of the roadway. In the tooling area, the conveyors should be carried in a trough (3) which is hinged to the end of the machine and can be adapted to suit the width of the roadway. The conveyors directed towards the walls should be adjusted to suit the operating radius of the tooling and should be designed as continuous centre chain scrapers.
