摘要
Hydrometallurgical processing of Cu-contg. sulphidic concentrate, by grinding in a ball mill stirrer (attritor) and leaching at higher temps. and increased O2 partial press under CuSO4 formation, takes place by starting out from a concentrate of gp. (A) contg. 26% Cu9S5 (digenite), 5% CuFeS2 (Cu pyrites), 33% FeS2 (pyrite) and 12% Fe8S9 (pyrrhotite), (B) contg. 22% (Fe, ni)9S8(pyrrhotite), 18% CuFeS2, 40% Fe8S9 and 5% FeS2, (C) contg. 45% Cu3SbS3.25 (tetrahedrite), 18% CuS (covellite) and 22% FeS2 and (D) with 76% CuFeS2 and 13% FeS2. After fine grinding in attritor for 10-30 min., the concentrate is leached at 120 degrees C or 160 degrees C or 170 degrees C or 18 degrees C and O2 partial press. 6-10 atmos. for 30-60 min. with water, without H2SO4 addn. and without using an Ag catalyst. Absence of H2SO4 helps to reduce corrosion of autoclaves and allows use of a working material cheaper than Ti; costs are saved by obviating need for Ag catalyst recovery step.
