Domestic rubbish compressor - has disinfectant pump on dustbin truck controlled by timber on insertion

The compressor has an adjustable ram and a truck accommodating the dustbin which can be wheeled out, there being a positively-operated sprayer inside the housing. On the truck is a canister (15) containing disinfecting and/or deodorant chemical and an electrically-driven pump (16). On insertion of the truck (11) a limit switch is closed (18), causing the pump to be switched on for a definite period by a timer (17). Spray nozzles (21, 23) mounted inside the housing are connected by hoses (20, 22) to the pump. A press-button switch (24) on the control panel can also be provided, to allow additional pump operation.
