Corrugated pipes coupled by double sleeve - of inner corrugated half rounds and outer smooth tube

A coupling sleeve for joining together corrugated pipes, esp. plastics drainage pipes, comprises a clamp-like inner sleeve with teeth to engage the corrugations of the pipe end and a smoth cylindrical outer sleeve which is slid on axially. Pref., the inner sleeve is made up of two half-round corru gated sections, joined by hinges or lugs. The sleeve is simple to make and fit and withstands tensile forces along the pipe.
