The junction has a sleeve in contact with the cable cores, and an outer sleeve with cable entries at its two ends, tight for the insulation compound filling the junction. The entry for the metal sheath cable (1) has a first sealing device (28-31) tightly fitting the outer sleeve (5) where it can be clamped for sealing. A second sealing device (28, 33, 34) clamps the sheath (2) tightly. The plastic sheath cable entry has an insulating sleeve (13) with a bottom (13") at one end, forming a liquid-tight joint with the sleeve (5). This bottom (13") faces the other cable entry and the core connecting sleeve (15) passes through this bottom (13"). An elastic insulating sleeve (18) seals the sleeve (13).
