Envelope with transparent foil windows for location of stamps - allows inspection by stamp collector of reverse side of stamp and allows easy removal

To protect postage stamps against damage when a stamp collector removes them from envelopes, (1) windows with transparent foil are provided (2). By sticking the stamps onto the transparent area, the reverse side of the stamp remains visible. Stamp characteristics such as water marks, roll number, silk thread and similar items can thus be inspected without peeling the stamp off the envelope. Perforations (4) around the windows are provided to facilitate the removal of the foil with the stamp from the envelope. The stamps may be removed from the envelope all together or they may be removed one by one.
