Device for suspending loads from arches of underground roadway or tunnel support includes at each side of the arch a hook shaped claw embracing the edge of the arch profile. Below the arch profile is a stirrup made from a round bar steel which projects with its threaded ends through holes in flanges of the hook shaped claws and is secured to the claws by nuts. Both ends of the stirrup (18) have their bending line (20) projecting through turning points (20, 21) to which are adjoining parts of the stirrup (23, 24) by which the stirrup is brought in contact with the arch profile (1). Between the parts of the stirrup (23, 24) and the stirrup ends (35, 36) projecting through the holes in the hook shaped claws (6, 7) is provided an additional bend (33, 34) with a turning point (30, 31). The stirrup is bent outwards in its middle below the arch profile in order to provide space between its inner surface and the surface of the arch profile for a link of a load suspending chain.
