Dual-purpose toilet roll - paper can open out to cover toilet seat or used folded for personal hygiene

A toilet roll comprises a paper web whose width corresponds to that of a toilet seat and with tear-off perforations (2) at intervals across the web with a perforated tear-out centre section (6) for a protective cover for the toilet seat. The paper web is supplied in a roll and is folded in zig-zag fashion with the fold lines (9, 9a) running longitudinally so that the latter is in fact unrolled in the standard width of a normal toilet toll since both longitudinal edges (3, 4) lie along each side edge. The fold lines (9, 9a) run either side of the centre tear-out section (6). The user can use one strip for the toilet seat and another for his personal hygiene whilst only one toilet roll and holder need be supplied.
