VHF and UHF amplifier for antenna and cable TV - has capacitive and inductive elements formed by discrete line sections

The VHF and UHF amplifier, for a common antenna and cable television system, has the series inductance and parallel capacitance forming the input and output sections of the cascaded transistor stages constructed from discrete series-coupled line sections of appropriately tuned lengths and wave impedances. Short sections of line are connected into the transistor feed lines and dimensioned to give an inductance of the order of a few nH. The amplifier has few components and this leads to a reduction of interactive interference.
