The traffic indicator cancelling arrangement for motor vehicles is for operation after the vehicle has negotiated a bend. Switch elements are provided in the turnable steering column. On turning the steering wheel back after negotiating a curve these elements switch off the traffic indicators. There is a magnet (3) on the steering column (2), to which are fitted two magnetic field controlled pick-up indicators (K1, K2) which are operated according to the direction of timing of the steering column. The pick-ups (K1, K2) are connected to the traffic indicators via a direction discriminator.
