Electronic release as actuator for mine explosion techniques in mining is tripped by an intrinsically safe detector which switches on an igniter thus firing a charge which in turn releases the extinguishant. The amplifier involved in the firing circuit is a primary amplifier coupled via a transistor controlled optical coupler to an electronic ignition amplifier with associated transistor. This in its turn controls a switching thyristor forming part of an ignition current circuit with fitted ignition capacitor and a ranged upstream of the multiple ignition circuit. The primary amplifier uses thermal elements for detection purposes. The main amplifier (2) and the ignition circuit each have their own supply. A relay operated discharge contact (d4-1) is allocated to the condenser.
