The relay switch (1) is excited by the ignition switch (4) on one side and by the air mixture metering contact (7) on the second side and the change contacts (8) excite a second relay (11) whose coil winding (10) is permanently connected to minus potential (12). The one relay contact (13) is connected to the supply source (5) positive potential and the second contact (15) is connected to the fuel pump (17). The first relay is additionally connected via the ignition switch (4) to the charging warning light (25) so that in the event of an impact which could cause the air volume regulator switch to remain in the closed position permitting fuel to be pumped into a stationary engine, the supply current would automatically be interrupted by the generator cutout.
