Inserting slots for the insertion of day markers on wall calenders. The slots are of a size 10 times 0.4 mm and are made with a punched shape which is clamped into the slot to permit lifting of the calender sheet so that the next sheet can be looked at without the day marker falling off. The sheet looked at may be a postcard or an indicator sheet giving dates for the whole year. This invention makes it possible to insert the day marker with one hand only and is particularly suitable for calenders showing three months on one sheet with the month shown in the centre being the actual current month.
