Oil mist generator for airline lubrication - has eddy current chamber to supply oil mist to metering valve

An oil mist generator which is used to lubricate a compressed air line receives its oil supply from a metering valve. The output of the metering valve is governed by the pressure in the air line. Oil from the metering valve is forced passed a non return valve into a chamber where eddy currents produce oil mist formation. The communicating vernturi shaped air line causes the oil mist to mix with the flow of compressed air. A small channel leads from upstream of the generator to the oil reservoir to pressurise the supply.
