Ring shaped curved conveyor belt from an elastomer material includes at least one ply from a woven material or a plastic foil which in main direction of tension has the greater tensile strength. The ring shaped curved conveyor belt consists of a number of sector shaped parts (3, 13) joined together. Their arc length (7.17) is not greater than 45 deg. and the main direction of tension (71 17) of their ply is always at right angle to radial direction (8). The parts (3, 13) have the same arc length and are arranged in the belt either in a side by side or an overlapping formation.
