The pyrotechnical machine component is used and separating machine components by integral propellant or explosive charge. These components are used in instances when rapid separation is required, for example in emergency devices or in space travel. The compact pyrotechnical connector acts simultaneously as a connector and separator for at least two independent components. The housing (1) for explosive accommodates also initiation wires and detonator. The housing has at its ends threaded studs (14, 15) for fitting this assembly between components. Alternatively the housing ends can have raised projections with tapped holes for inserting clamping bolts.
