The screw terminal connector for non-stripped telecommunications cable cores comprises a U-shaped terminal connection contact piece (1). The contact piece (1) has contact ribs (5) directed against the cable cores, and the ribs are rounded at the points of contact (4). The height of the ribs (5) corresponds at least to the wall thickness of the insulation sleeve(s) of the cable cores, and the ribs (5) are so shaped that they pass over the whole width of the terminal connection contact piece (1). The ribs, especially the upper one, can be made from a relatively thin plate.
