The element has a cylindrical sleeve element (1) opened in an opened outer end and closed in an end region (6) through a base (3). A hole (4) forms a screw, and a screw thread-type flat rib (5) extends at an outer side of the sleeve element and over the whole length of the sleeve element. The sleeve element comprises a head part (8) in a form of plate and the opened outer end, where an edge (9) of the head part lies in a cylindrical surface with an edge (7) of the flat rib. Bars are arranged between a base and a front edge of the sleeve element. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for mounting insulation material layers on a flat roof (2) a method for mounting an insulation material on a wall.
