Building consideration on erecting an overflowable dam power plant etc. especially a flood power plant with machine halls arranged in the building body and with a number of adjacent power water lines which are set up for the pipe turbines, each with a turbine intermediate chamber and with additional drain lines where emergency connection devices are fitted to the power water lines and there are auxiliary measures for the take-off of the building flood level. Some of the power water lines (7) are temporarily provided with connecting pipes (11) which bridge their turbine intermediate chamber (6). During the further building operations these pipes (11) act to take away the floor water. Specially, the connecting pipes are reinforced concrete pipes.
