Processing silver halide colour material - using bleach bath contg iron (III) aminopoly-carboxylic acid complex, bromide and persulphate

In the processing of colour photographic Ag halide materials, in which the Ag removal stage following the colour development stage comprises a bleaching and a fixing stage, the bleach soln. contains Fe(III) aminopolycarboxylic acid complex salt (I), bromide (II) and 1 g/l persulphate (III) and has a pH of 4.0-6.8. Bleaching pref. takes place immediately after colour development. With this bleach soln., the bleaching time can be reduced without bleaching fog formation or staining.
