The support and/or positioning means form an integral unit with the deflection yoke, or alternatively are connected with it. At least one pin (20) is an integral part of the bulb (10) and projects backwards from the tube flare (14). The axis of the pin is in parallel with the axis of the tube. The pin is situated near the junction between flare and neck. In one form the pin is made from glass enabling it to be created simultaneously with the manufacturing of the bulb (10). Alternatively, it can be of metal or glass fixed by melting at a later stage.
