The brackets are intended for the wall mounting of wash basins and other lavatory equipment. The brackets are made from a single metal pressing of a top-hat cross section bent to an L-shape. To provide increased stability, the depth of section is increased in the region (5) at the junction of the arms (3) and (4). The brackets are used in pairs joined together by strips passing through slits (8) in the side walls of the top-hat section. Fixing bolts (11) are attached to the brackets through slotted holes to adapt the brackets to equipment of different heights. Making each bracket as a single piece avoids welding and reduces manufacturing costs.
