Granules contg. trace elements, such as Zn, Mn, Fe, Mo, Cu,Co and esp. B for the treatment of soils deficient in these, are prepd. by acid attack (HNO3 or H2SO4) on a mineral or industrial b -prod. contg. the trace elements in order to render it at least partially sol. and passing the liquor to a granulator. The granules may also contain inert substances such as kieselguhr fertilisers, anti-agglomerating cpds. synergic and analogous cpds. such as humic or fulvic acids and EDTA.
