Device for immersing profiles and sheets in anodising baths comprises vertically displaceable guide bars and adjusting tools sliding over these guide bars. The guide bars have a rectangular cross-section and the part of the adjusting tool which surrounds the guide bar and which has a side opening is fixed to the head of the tool by a single arm to link rod. The guide bars are rotated in position after prolonged exposure to the corrosive effects of the system and the tools themselves have min exposure.
