The male connector block, for printed circuit boards, has two main forms. The first has a contact pin (22) at right angles to the male contact part (11b) of the connector block (11a), and the second form has two spring contact arms parallel to the male contact part. In the first form the contact pin and the male contact conductor (20) are formed from the same conducting strip -- which is held in a cavity (17) at one end, loops around the end of the male part (11b) and back up to a hole in the main body (11a) through which the pin passes. In the second form the male contact strip is formed in two paralle pieces (7a, 10a) -- fixed at the male end (8) and formed into two spring contact arms inside a cavity (9) in the body of the connector.
