Cubicle stores and conserves food, transports as desired to lower central cooking distribution cell (6) rapidly cooks if necessary and provides meals of freshly cooked, reheated or cold constituents as demand dictates. It can be operated by a single cook and incorporates fume extraction, juice salvage, oil feed, a grill, netered supply of prepared potatoes and compartments for conservation, treatment and distribution. Pref. potatoes are gravity fed from a refrigerated cell (1) into two successive temperature graded oil vats. Meats and prepared mealts etc. are fed from respective motorised helicoidal ramps (9) and (16, 17, 18) and an endless chain-roller grill (8) with auto-hot air (7) cleaning is utilised.
