Each of the upright posts placed centrally at intervals along the length of each row has an arm extending transversely across the width of the row. Multiple arms can be used to provide a range of widths. Wires or cords are placed along the length of each row, being supported each side by the arms. One cord end is fixed to a post at one end of a row, the other being attached to a reel at the opposite end. As a reel tightens a cord, raising it to the level of each arm, side shoots are lifted and supported, the two cords along each row being raised simultaneously.
