A concentrated seasoning is produced by pasteurisation of fresh or rehydrated onion to eliminate bacteria without taste or destroying vitamins. Directly usable for seasoning foods/sauces. Can be preserved for long periods. Pref. vegetable fat, esp. hydrogenated, is mixed with pasteurised onion.
