The carrying pulley (2) is on a horizontal shaft on a pole (5). It has two grooves (6) (7), one supporting the cable (8) and the other catching the cable if derailed from the first. The outside (6a) of one groove (6) is of less diameter than the inside (6b) to allow free passage of attachments (9a) of the support (9). The other groove (7), being a derailment safeguard, is much deeper. There is a fixed slide way (11) with its end specially positioned and with an upper branch (11b) and lower one (11c) carried on a fixed support (12) and another (13). This gives a derailment safeguard, without affecting the passing of supports.
