Tractor mounted vine trimmer - has frame with shear cutters driven by hydraulic motor

The machine clears vine shoots from between the rows of vines. A frame (1) fitted to the front of the tractor has a protective grille (2) and means (3) of attachment to a tractor. The frame supports several shear cutters (4) driven through chains by a hydraulic motor. The cutters consist of two fixed blades connected to a plate and of two moving blades fixed to a disc integral with a rotating shaft. A system of bearings and a spring keep the movable blades tight against the fixed blades. The width of the blades can be adjusted by a metering screw, and their height can be adjusted by a slide and a lock-nut.
