Tractor mounted vine trimmer - has hydraulic motor drive to cutter and pulveriser from PTO

The vine trimmer is mounted on the front of a tractor and is driven from the tractor power-take-off which powers a pump driving a hydraulic motor. A jack adjusts the height of the machine to the vine to be trimmed. Dividers separate the shoots from the top of the vine. Adjustable rods fitted on supports raise the drooping shoots. Rotating beaters force the stems into the cutter blades and the cut stems fall into the pulveriser, and thence onto the soil. Protective screens restrict the travel of the cut material and are made of grilles or other transparent material, so that the view of the driver is not obstructed.
