Semi-electronic telephone exchange distributor testing - by using load simulation with individual parts testing

A loud simulator tests the terminal parts of the distributor. This simulator has several result and data recorders of a format which is compatible with the computer used. A sequential circuit establishes the sequence of elementary tests to be carried out. An arrangement of swept points fulfill the role of load simulators for the interrogation amplifiers and an arrangement of transmitting and receiving signal circuits. Under the control of a computer, tests of result and data recording, functional control of sweep distribution and control, and operations for controlling the control circuits of the rapid distributor terminal parts, are carried out. The responses obtained are compared with the contents of a table of values containing the correct responses of each elementary test carried out.
