Heat pump for air heating and dehumidification - has circulating medium passing through heat exchanger with cooling and heating surfaces

The heat pump unit is used especially for heating and for dehumidification of swimming pool halls. This arrangement ensures dehumidification at high efficiency and heat losses in the hall are kept low. The heat pump has a cooling and heating surface for the air and a compressor with associated liquefier and evaporator. The cooling and heating surfaces are in contact with the circulating medium which acts as a heat exchange medium with the evaporator and a heat reservoir. The temperature of this medium is lower than the dew point of the air. The system is regulated by a hygrostat which actuates on air flow control flaps. This hygrostat actuates also a solenoid valve for controlling flow through the cooling surface.
