Conservative central heating system - uses conventional boiler and stale air heat exchanger

The distribution circuit of a central heating system combines a traditional boiler (2), heated by solid fuel, gas, or electricity, and a heat pump (8-13) extracting heat from the stale air of the premises to be heated. Heat is transferred by heat exchanger to the water of the central heating system, the boiler and pump working either in series or invidually. The control system can shut off the boiler when the radiator water temperature reaches, say 50 deg.C, and the heat pump when water at the outlet reaches either this temperature, or a higher one , say 70 deg.C.
