Security lock for fuel lines - has lockable stop-cock in fuel line valve block (SW210676)

The lockable fuel tap provides greater security than the ignition lock against vehicle theft. It consists of a box (10) mounted inside the car at floor level between the front seats and containing a valve block (14). The fuel lnes pass through the sides of the box and are connected to unions at either end of a passage (16) through the block. A rotating valve (20) is fitted in the passage and is actuated by is shank passing through and at right angles to the block. The shank is then connected to the shaft (24) of the cylinder lock (26). The latter is fixed to the cover (10B) of the box so that the lock may be operated by the key (28). External notices that the equipment is fitted probably provide sufficient deterrent to thieves, and the lock is also useful n the case of fire, when the fuel supply could be cut off quickly.
