摘要
The multi-core superconductor consists of superconductive cores and normally conductive material, and the cores consist wholly or partly of intermetallic compounds of A3B composition. Wires of metal A coated with a normally conductive material are covered with metal B, and several of these wires are placed in a tube of a normally conductive material, and then the tube with the coated wires is converted by drawing into a compound unit which is then annealed at 650 to 750 deg.C for 10 to 80 hours. Preferably the coating is effected by drawing the wires through a bath of the molten metal B. Other coating techniques may also be used. Typically A is niobium, B is tin, and the tube of copper.
