The microcomposite core material of superconductive wire contains 2 atom % of copper or 10 atom% or less of copper-aluminum alloy in a matrix material of niobium, tantalum or their alloy. The core material is rapidly heated at more than 1700 deg C for 2 s or less at room temperature and cooled rapidly to form an A15 phase compound structure. An additional heat treatment is carried out at 650-900 deg C. An Independent claim is also included for manufacture of copper content Nb/Al extra fine multicore superconductive wire.
