Air/fuel ratio controller for combustion engine, esp. for gaseous fuel supplied by a cracking plant (5), has an air feed duct (1) connected to a fuel gas feed duct (4) through a convergent nozzle (7) operating to accelerate the air flow and thereby act on the gas flow in the manner of an ejector pump to increase the pressure drop through the generator and maintain correct air/fuel ratio as the engine is speeded up. For regulating its flow area the nozzle has a centre plug (8) whose position is controllable e.g. by a spring (12) urging the plug into open position against the suction of the engine.
