Automatic call system suitable for hotels - has indexing keyboard memory keyboard and associated alarm instrumentation

The automatic call-system pref. for hotels, comprises a central unit, where all the requests for alarm calls are recorded, memorised and copied on a printout, and a fixed number of floor boxes connected to the central unit and each connected to a fixed number of rooms. When the memorised call-time is equal to the actual time, the central unit transmits an alarm signal to the room, the message transmission and its reception being automatically redisplayed on the print-out. The recording of calls may be made on an indexing keyboard (1) which enables the time requested and the room number to be recorded or two visual displays (4, 5). A memory keyboard (2) restores the indexing onto the printout (7). The keyboard (2) may have 'TIME-MEMORY' and 'INTERROGATION' keys. Repeat signals may be given at 15, 30 or 45 minutes after the fixed signal requested.
