Rigid sealed insulating panel production process - involves prestressing of plastic foam wall by three dimensional glass fibre network inside casing

The process is for the manufacture of rigid sealed building insulation panels of indefinite length. A wal of rigid plastics foam is prestressed by a three-dimensional network of taut glass fibre inside a casing of glass fibre impregnated with plastics resin, and impermeable. The folded edges of a weldable metal diaphragm are fixed in the network ensuring primary impermeability of the panels. The plastics foam, the casing and the network can be continuously assembled together in a special machine, and the network fibres can extend in three main directions inclined to the panel faces.
