The deep level well for lowering the ground water level from several ground layers has a submerged pump and two filter chambers above the pump. The sealing arrangement between the filter chambers has penetration for the pump riser pipe. It has also a valve for optional connection of both filter chambers and a pipe for drawing air out of the lower chamber. The pump and filter system operates uniformly regardless of differences in the water level. The upper filler chamber (4) has a float (10) which slides on the inlet pipe (9) and also on the pump riser pipe (7). Hence the float is prevented from rotating. The float has on its underside a closing element (17) for an outlet (8) for optional connection of filter chambers.
