1509989 Curving sheets SAINT-GOBAIN INDUSTRIES 28 May 1976 [30 May 1975 5 March 1976] 22292/76 Heading C1M Sheets of material in the plastic state are curved by moving them over a series of curved supporting rods transverse to the direction of motion of the sheet, the rods being in planes which are inclined with respect to the direction of motion whereby to define a support surface with a progressively changing curvature, the sheets being propelled by rotating flexible sheaths which surround the rods. The shape of the bed may vary because of change in inclination of rods having the same curvature or of rod curvature.
