The direction indicators (11, 12; 13, 14) are supplied by a winding (10) of a magneto flywheel alternating current generator (1), by means of a unit (16) for controlling ignition, and an automatic flasher device (15). In order to protect these indicators against excessive voltage increases, the system comprises a protective electronic circuit (17) which is shunted relative to the direction indicators and to the flasher device, such as to deflect the supply current when the voltage exceeds a safety level.
