An electronic aerial to be used for the reception of radio waves and image lines for television, consists of a raster, which is composed of five levels made from red copper, zinc and brass gauze. This unit is shaped like a rectangular clover leaf, and can therefore receive signals from all directions. The next section of the aerial system consists of a combined aerial signal amplifier. Here the incoming signals are retained across control resistors and amplified. This unit will only be suitable for radio waves and black and white television reception. The amplification system can be modified to receive colour. The final phase provides the voltage via a transformer.
