Foot rest for bicycle with childs rear seat - is releasably and adjustably fixed to carrier secured on rear fork

The childs foot rest (2) is intended for use with a childs seat secured ont he rear luggage rack of a bicycle with rear fork (1). The foot rest is adjustably fixed to a carrier (5) by means of releasable stud and nut (15, 19) whilst the carrier itself is secured (8, 10, 12, 13) parallel to the rear fork. The carrier may be a tube or metal rod, and may have a number of bores (14) capable of receiving the nut and bolt (15, 19) holding the foot rest. The tube (5) may have securing nuts at both ends, and may have a protective cap (11) at one end.
