Gas meter coupling unit for main and branch pipe - has pipe branches with internal and external threads and given distance linking sections and housing

A unit for coupling a gas meter between the main supply pipe and a branch line for conveying the medium. The measuring instrument has two pipe branches for input and output of which one is connected to the main network and the other to the branch network. The pipe branches (2, 3) are mounted at a fixed distance apart on a pipe section (1). One of the pipe branches (3) has an internal thread so that the top side is connected to the branch network and the bottom side to the gas meter. The other pipe branch (2) is formed by an outlet section of a tap housing n4). It is linked to the pipe section (1) via the flow space of the tap housing and the inlet (5) of the tap housing. The tap housing is provided with a flange (6) which is coupled to a pressure regulator (7). It has two openings (8, 9) to provide a link between the tap housing and the inlet opening.
